Shipping Policy
Order Processing & Shipping Schedule
To maintain product quality and integrity, all raw products are shipped Monday through Thursday.

California orders: Typically ship Monday–Thursday.

Orders outside California: Final weekly shipping day is generally Wednesday, depending on transit times and shipping requirements.
Orders typically require 3–5 business days for processing prior to shipment, excluding weekends and holidays.
We do not ship Friday through Sunday. Orders placed during this period will be processed and shipped during the following shipping week.
Shipping transit times are estimates provided by shipping carriers and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may vary depending on destination, weather conditions, carrier delays, holidays, and shipping volume.
Shipping Restrictions & Raw Product Requirements
Due to the perishable nature of raw pet food, shipping methods may be restricted based on destination and transit times.
Orders placed after 3:00 PM PST on Wednesday may be held until the following shipping week to help maintain product quality and reduce transit risk.

Shipping Outside California
Orders shipped outside of California generally require Next Day Air or approved expedited shipping methods based on destination and carrier transit times.
Shipping requirements, carrier restrictions, and shipping costs may change at any time without notice.
Frozen Product Shipping Notice
By purchasing frozen raw products from Ancestral Raw Nutrition, you acknowledge and agree that:

Frozen shipments may experience partial thawing during transit.

Dry ice naturally evaporates during shipment.

Weather conditions, carrier delays, and distance traveled may affect package condition.

Minor package leakage, condensation, or thawing may occur and does not automatically indicate product spoilage or qualify for replacement.
Customers should immediately inspect all deliveries and place products into the freezer upon arrival.
Lost, Stolen, Delayed, or Damaged Packages
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery responsibility shifts to the carrier.
If a shipment is lost, damaged, misdelivered, or delayed, Ancestral Raw Nutrition may, at its sole discretion, assist customers by filing claims with the shipping carrier when applicable.
Approval of carrier claims is determined by the carrier and is not guaranteed.
Customers may be responsible for replacement purchases if claims are denied.
Local Delivery Policy
Local deliveries are available Monday–Saturday between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
At our discretion, delivery arrangements outside standard business hours may be available.
If a customer misses an agreed delivery time:

A $25 redelivery fee may apply, or

Customers are responsible for ensuring drivers can access gated communities, apartment complexes, secured properties, or restricted-access locations.
If delivery cannot be completed due to inaccessible delivery instructions, additional delivery fees may apply or alternate pickup arrangements may be required.
Dehydrated Treat Shipping
Dehydrated treats do not have frozen shipping restrictions and may ship using available standard UPS shipping methods.
